December Stocking

The December Stocking is worked top-down, from the leg to the toe. The stocking is worked in a textured pattern and the heel in stockinette stitch. At the end a leather strap is attached.

Gauge: 20 sts x 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4 inches] in texture pattern on a 3.5 mm [US4] needle

Needles: Circular needles: 3.5 mm [US4] / 40 cm [16 inches]; Double-pointed needles: 3.5 mm [US4]

Materials: 200 g Hjelholt Triple by Hjelholt Uldspinderi (100 g = 165 m [180 yds])

Leather strap: 45 cm, 2 Chicago screws, optionally decorative ribbon
