French Market Bag
The French Market Bag is worked from the bottom up. The bottom is flat and it is worked as a growing circle in the round on double-pointed needles, while the sides of the bag are worked in the round in the knotted openwork pattern on a circular needle. The top of the bag is finished with an i-cord edge. The lining is sewn with the same construction as the bag and then sewn onto the finished bag. At the end, the leather straps are sewn onto the top of the bag.
The pattern contains the sewing instructions for the lining.
