Christmas Stocking
The Christmas Stocking is worked top-down from the leg to the toe. The stocking is worked in stockinette stitch and the heel is shaped using short rows. The stocking is felted at the end before the name is embroidered, the edge is folded and sewn, and a leather loop is attached.

Needles: 5.5 mm [US9] / 40 cm [6 inches] circular needle and 5.5 mm [US9] double-pointed needles (or an 80 cm [32 inches] circular needle if you’re using the Magic Loop technique)
Materials: 200 g Fritidsgarn by Sandnes Garn (50 g = 70 m [77 yds]), leather strap: 45 cm, 2 Chicago screws
