The Dandelion Dress is worked from the top down. The first part of the yoke is worked back and forth to form the slit at the back of the neck. The second part of the yoke is worked in the round on the circular needles. The skirt is worked in the round as well, and a lovely dandelion pattern with increases is worked to shape the skirt. The dandelion pattern is worked with increasing distance as the skirt grows – like the little seed heads that float away with the wind. The sleeves are worked on double-pointed needles or on a circular needle using the Magic Loop technique. An i-cord edge is worked along the neck edge and slit at the end.
