Sister Scarf
The Sister Scarf is worked flat, back and forth, in stockinette stitch with rib at each end. Each stripe is worked across 40 rows, and approx. 4-4.5 g of yarn have been used for each stripe in this version. Get out all your cashmere scraps and swap with others at your knitting club to get new colors. Scraps weighing as little as a couple of grams can be used!

Length: approx. 190 cm [74¾ inches]
Gauge: 25 sts x 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4 inches] in stockinette stitch on a 3.5 mm [US4] needle, or the required needle size to obtain gauge
Needles: Circular needles: 3.5 mm [US4] / 60 cm [24 inches] and 3 mm [US2½] / 60 cm [24 inches]
Materials: The scarf weighs approx. 63 g distributed between 14 different colors, and approx. 4-4.5 g have been used of each color. Cashmere by Mondial (25 g = 115 m [126 yds]) or Cashmere Classic by Cardiff (25 g = 112 m [120 yds]) or Cashmere Premium by Lang Yarn (25 g = 115 m [126 yds]) or Pure Cashmere by Sysleriget (50 g = 224 m [245 yds]) or Compatible Cashmere by Knitting for Olive (25 g = 150 m [164 yds]) (the last one worked with two strands of yarn held together)
