Nora's Skirt

Nora’s Skirt is worked top-down. A casing for a wide elastic band is created around the waist. The straps are knit at the end and sewn onto the back on the inside of the waist band. The straps are crossed on the back when wearing and fastened at the front with 2 buttons.

Length of the skirt: 24 (27) 30 (32) 33 (34) cm

Waist measurement: 48 (50) 52 (54) 56 (58) cm (without the elastic) (please note that this will be adjusted with the elastic)

Gauge: 26 sts = 10 cm [4 inches] in stockinette st

Suggested needles: 3.0 mm [US2½] circular needles (40 and 80 or 100 cm [16 and 32 or 40 inches]), 2.5 m[US1½] circular needles (80 or 100 cm [32 or 40 inches])

Materials: 150 (150) 150 (200) 200 (200) g of Esther by Permin (50 g = 230 m [252 yds]), 2 buttons (Ø = 15 mm), 3 cm wide elastic band (approx. 0.5 m), stitch marker, darning needle
