The Oslo Hat is knit from the bottom up in stockinette stitch with the yarn held double. The first part of the hat is worked on a short circular needle (3.5 mm / 40 cm), while the crown is worked on DPNs or on a longer circular needle using the Magic Loop technique to work a small circumference.

Measurements: To fit head circumference of 47-50 (50-55) 55-59 (59-62) cm
Gauge: 22 stitches x 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch on 3.5 mm needles
Suggested needles: 3.5 mm (US size 4) / 40 cm circular needles, 3.5 mm (US size 4) double pointed needles (DPNs) or a longer circular needle to use the magic loop technique
Materials: 100 (150) 150 (150) g Arwetta from Filcolana (50 g / 210 m) or Sunday from Sandnes Garn (50 g = 235 m)
